I am honored to be elected to serve as the National Commander of the Combat Infantrymen’s Association for the next 2 years. We have many exciting things developing for our association. You will be kept up to date on them as they progress. We have a new website to keep members apprised of activities and events.
One thing I must request is that each of you go out and find at least 1 new member. There are hundreds of thousands of former infantrymen in the USA and they need to know they have an association the exists just for infantrymen and their families. Infantry is family and always supports its own.
Finally, I ask that every infantryman wears shirts, jackets, hats, sweatshirts, etc., with the CIB on them when shopping, attending sporting events, and out in their communities. We need to make sure that infantrymen are recognized in their communities. If we wear our CIB gear, fellow infantrymen will notice and respond by joining and participating in our events.
Until next message, everyone be “Infantry Proud”.
