Testimonials From 2017 Convention Attendees

The convention was excellent!  I found it well organized, informative and fun.  The two trips to Ft. Benning were simply outstanding; visiting the museum and watching both the soldier's graduation ceremony on the parade field as well as the Ranger's demonstration/graduation alone made the trip worthwhile.  The business meeting portion was well organized, solicited excellent questions/inquiries from those in attendance and clearly reflected a sense of dedication and professionalism on behalf of the whole executive committee.  Our organization certainly has the leadership and vision to prosper and grow in the years ahead.  Thanks again to you, Larry and all others for a wonderful convention!

I have just returned from the Fort Benning reunion of the Combat Infantrymen's Association.  It was one of the most thrilling and emotional experiences that I have ever know.  We were able to watch the Infantry Graduating Class, observe a demonstration of Ranger Tactics, enjoy a guided tour through the National Infantry Museum, participate in a memorial service at the CIB Monument, and enjoy numerous other activities.

The emotional highlight for me took place when I learned that soil had been gathered from previous battlefields in Europe, the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc and replanted on the Parade Field.  To realize that today's new soldiers are marching on such hallowed ground, as well as figuratively standing on the shoulders of those heroes who came before them, was deeply satisfying to me.

I will definitely be returning for many future reunions.

Attending our CIA 2017 convention was a great experience for my wife and I.  What a pleasure it is to be in the company of fellow infantrymen.  Everyone at the convention has walked the walk.  The convention was well run and truly an enjoyable experience.  I am really looking forward to the 2018 convention now!

I have attended at least eleven conventions and this one was the absolute best in my opinion. The Infantry School presentations and graduation were really great. The museum and our monument along with the ceremony was outstanding. Our business meetings were extremely well conducted and to the point.Meeting other members and hearing their stories was really good. Two Generals in attendance. Great Job.
